Falcons' Player Recap: Matt Ryan

Today's Falcons' player recap will be over star quarterback Matt Ryan. He will be the last quarterback covered.
Ryan is a five-year veteran out of Boston College. He has been the Falcons' starting quarterback ever since he was drafted back in 2008. He had a big year this year, setting career highs in the following categories; quarterback rating, completions, attempts, completion percentage, yards, yards per game, touchdowns and rushing yards. His final line for the year, he completed 422 of his 615 passes for 4,719 yards and 32 touchdowns. These numbers put him in an elite company of some of the top quarterbacks in the NFL today. Two down sides to his season, he tied his career-high with fourteen interceptions, and the offensive line didn't protect him enough as he was sacked 28 times, the most in his career.
Ryan will be the starting quarterback again for the Falcons next season, his sixth in the NFL. He hopes to continue to set career-highs in all the positive categories and lead the Falcons to another playoff berth and hopefully a Super Bowl title.

Matt Ryan hopes to come back even better next season and lead the Falcons to a Super Bowl title.
