Falcons' Player Recap: Mike Cox

Today's Falcons' player recap will be over fullback Mike Cox. It also starts the running backs/fullbacks portion, which will cover the next seven days.
Cox is a five-year veteran out of Georgia Tech. Originally drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs, Cox has spent parts of the past two seasons with the Falcons. His main job on the team is to block for the running backs. He never carried the ball for the Falcons, but he did have three receptions for 22 yards.
Cox could potentially be looking for another job next season with Bradie Ewing returning. He is cheap though, and this is where he played college, so if the Falcons wanted him back Cox would most likely return, even in a reserve role.

Mike Cox (42) celebrates during the NFC Championship game. It will be decided over the off season whether Cox will return for another season with the Falcons.
