Today's Falcons' player recap will be over wide receiver Drew Davis.
Davis is a one-year pro out of Oregon. He spent the 2011 season with the Falcons' practice squad. This year, he made the team out of camp and appeared in all sixteen games with Atlanta. Most of his playing time came on special teams. He did catch four passes though for 40 yards and his first career touchdown, which came in the win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Davis should be around for the Falcons again next season. He appears to have a good upside and he could become a hidden weapon in the Falcons' receiving corps if they decide to use him more. The only way he would leave is if he got a better offer with another team or if he fails to make the team out of training camp.
