Today's Falcons' player recap will be over wide receiver Kerry Meier.
Meier is a two-year pro out of Kansas. Last season he appeared in twelve games for the Falcons, mainly on special teams and on offense for blocking situations. This past season, he hurt his knee in the preseason and unfortunately for him, he missed the entire year.
Meier's knee should be healthy again for him to play next season. Whether it is for the Falcons or not remains the question. If he does return, it will most likely be on an invite to training camp. If he doesn't make the team, or if the Falcons don't re-sign him, he will be looking for a new home.
