Today's Falcons' player recap will be over wide receiver Kevin Cone.
Cone is a one-year pro, and local boy, out of Georgia Tech. He spent all of the previous season on the practice squad for the Falcons. This year he played in twelve games for Atlanta, mainly on special teams where he produced well. He had one pass thrown to him but he couldn't quite haul it in.
Cone will have a chance to be with the Falcons again next season. Look for him to come to training camp during the summer with a chance to win a job as a receiver and a special teams player again. If he doesn't make it, he could end up on the practice squad with Atlanta or somewhere else in the league.
