Falcons' Player Recap: Peria Jerry

Today's Falcons' player recap will be over defensive lineman Peria Jerry.
Jerry is in his third season out of Mississippi. He missed most of his first season due to an injury, but has played almost every game since. He has been a big disappointment though after being a first-round draft pick. He only has two sacks over his entire career, and he just set a career-high in tackles in 2012 with fourteen. He had no sacks this past season though, not the kind of numbers you expect from a former first-round pick.
Jerry should be in Atlanta again in 2013. He could be on the brink of losing his job though, with the poor numbers he puts up and the abundance of lineman the Falcons have. Look for Jerry to either put up big numbers and keep his spot, or continue to falter as he has and lose his place on the team.
