Today there will be three Falcons' player recaps, due to the fact that a few days have been missed. This will be the beginning of the next ten recaps covering the offensive lineman. The first lineman covered today will be Sam Baker.
Baker is a five-year pro out of USC. He has spent his whole career with the Falcons, but 2012 was probably his best season with Atlanta. He had struggled with injuries and inconsistency in previous years, but this year he seemed to put it all together and became the lineman the Falcons envisioned him being when they drafted him in 2008. He will definitely be around next season, anchoring what should be another strong Falcons' offensive line.
