Today's Falcons' player recap will be over corner back Christopher Owens.
Owens is a three-year pro out of San Jose State. He has spent his whole career with Atlanta so far. After being a main reserve in the secondary his first two years, he has seen his action and playing time decrease a little over the last two seasons. He had 22 tackles in 2012 with no interceptions. He hasn't had an interception over the past two years.
Owens is currently a free agent, but the Falcons could choose to re-sign him, especially with the departure of Dunta Robinson and the possible departure of Brent Grimes. If he does come back, he could have a chance to become one of the top reserves at the position again or even the starter if he performs well in training camp over the summer.
