Today's Falcons' player recap will be over defensive lineman Corey Peters.
Peters is a third year pro out of Kentucky. He has spent all three years with the Falcons. 2012 was a rough year for Peters as he missed the first six games with an injury. Once he finally got back he never seemed to get in the groove and struggled. He finished the year with only fifteen tackles and no sacks, both career-lows for the lineman.
Much more will be expected out of Peters in 2013. Hopefully he remains healthy all season so he will be out on the field. Also, the Falcons will expect a higher output of results for Peters, especially with John Abraham's departure, they will need him to pick it up in the sack department.
