Falcons' Player Recap: Lawrence Sidbury

Today's Falcons' player recap will cover defensive lineman Lawrence Sidbury.
Sidbury is a four-year pro out of Richmond. He was originally drafted by the Falcons and has spent parts of the past seasons with the team and on the practice squad. In 2011, he had four sacks and it appeared he was ready for a bigger role in 2012. Things changed though and Sidbury played in ten games and only recorded one tackle and no sacks.
With the recent release of John Abraham, Sidbury has a chance to step up and shine. When the Falcons first drafted him, they said he had raw potential and would take time to develop. Sidbury needs to show them that time is now. Look for him to have a bigger role with the team in 2013.
