The next Falcons' player recap will cover safety Thomas DeCoud. It also starts the beginning of coverage over safeties and corner backs.
DeCoud is a five-year pro out of California. He has been with the Falcons his whole career and has been a main part of the secondary for most of the past four years. Last season, he had the second highest total of tackles in his career with 76, which included a sack. He also set a career-high with six interceptions.
DeCoud will be around again next season and team up with William Moore, who recently re-signed for the next five years, as one of the best set of safeties in the NFL. They both are hard-hitting and should provide great defense and coverage for the Falcons for years to come.
