Today's Falcons' player recap will be over defensive lineman Vance Walker. It is also the last day covering the defensive line.
Walker is a four-year pro out of Georgia Tech. When the Falcons first drafted Walker out of Tech four years ago, there was concern if he would even make the team and stick around for awhile. Now four years later, Walker has become a main part of the Falcons' defensive line and he had his best season yet in 2012. He played in all sixteen games for the third straight season and set career-highs with 32 tackles and three sacks.
Walker should return to the Falcons next season. He will continue to help anchor this defensive line which has the opportunity to be one of the best in the NFL if every player can play up to his potential.
