Hawks Make Moves

Today the Atlanta Hawks announced they have released Jeremy Tyler and signed Shelvin Mack to a ten day contract. They also recalled Mike Scott from the NBA Developmental League.
Mack, a guard from Butler, has played in 23 games this season with Maine of the NBA Developmental League and has averaged 20.1 points a game for them. He has also spent time with the Washington Wizards and the Philadelphia 76ers this year. Last year as a rookie with the Wizards, Mack played in 64 games and averaged three points a game. Scott was recalled from the D-League after playing just three games with them. He averaged 24 points and eleven rebounds in those three games for the Bakersfield Jam.
Tyler was acquired at the trade deadline to help the Golden State Warriors get under the Luxury Tax requirement. He ended up playing in one game for the Hawks and had three rebounds but didn't score a point.
