Hawks' Player Recap: Anthony Tolliver

The next Hawks' player recap will cover Anthony Tolliver.
Tolliver is a three-year pro guard out of Creighton. He has played with the San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Hawks in his short career. With the Hawks this past season he was mainly used off the bench but he wasn't a big part of the bench at times during the year. Sometimes he did really good, but other times he didn't factor much into games.
Tolliver appeared in 62 games for the Hawks. He averaged 4.1 points a game and 2.5 rebounds. He finished the year with totals of 253 points scored and he pulled down 155 rebounds. His best game of the year came in a Hawks' 107-96 victory on March 6th against the Philadelphia 76ers. In that game, Tolliver scored a season-high 21 points on seven of ten shooting, he hit five 3-pointers. He also pulled down a season-high eight rebounds in the win.
Tolliver is a free agent this off season. It is not a guarantee for him to return to Atlanta, but if the Hawks can't find some good bench players in the free agent market over the summer, he might return. He would be a good, cheap player to play the same sort of role he played this past season with the team.

Anthony Tolliver throws down a dunk against the Indiana Pacers, he was used mostly off the bench this year and contributed nicely in some games.
