Hawks' Player Recap: Johan Petro

Today's Hawks' player recap will be over Johan Petro.
Petro is a seven-year pro center who didn't attend college. He has spent time with the Seattle Supersonics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, New Jersey Nets and the Hawks during his career. He mainly was a reserve for the Hawks this past season, but he didn't start playing regularly until after Zaza Pachulia was lost to an injury for the season.
Petro averaged 3.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for the Hawks, he played in 31 games for them over the course of the year. He finished the year with totals of 108 points and 112 rebounds. Petro's best game for the Hawks came on April 6th when they lost 99-97 to the San Antonio Spurs. He finished the game with a double-double, scoring eleven points and pulling down fifteen rebounds.
Petro is a free agent this off season. He most likely won't return to the Hawks since he wasn't a big factor on the team this past season anyway. The only reason he would return would be to serve as a third big man on the team and provide depth, which is the same position he was in at the beginning of last year.

Johan Petro spent this past season with the Hawks and didn't play as much as he would have liked to, he probably won't return next year.
