Falcons Make Cuts

The Atlanta Falcons cut fifteen players from their roster to get down to the NFL league mandated limit of 75 players on Tuesday. Here is the list of players that were released from the team; Quarterback Seth Doege, Running back Donald Russell, Fullback Devonte Campbell, Tight ends Colin Cloherty and Tim Biere, Wide receivers Marcus Jackson, Marcus Sales and Rashad Evans, Offensive linemen Jeff Nady and Matt Smith, Defensive linemen Cam Henderson and Brandon Thurmond, Linebacker Nick Clancy and Safety Troy Sanders. None of the players are a surprise as none of them figured to make the team. A few of the players have a possibility of ending up on the Falcons' practice squad once players can be signed to that on Sunday.
