Jeremy Trueblood was signed to help Lamar Holmes out on the right side of the line, which has been the weak spot thus far for Atlanta. Trueblood has started 84 games in his NFL career, all with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He fell out of favor with them after an injury forced him to miss most of last season. He signed with the Washington Redskins over the off season but they released him after training camp ended. To make room for Trueblood on the roster, the Falcons cut Terren Jones.
